The Shropshire Invertebrates Group (SIG)  explores the invertebrate interest of this varied and under-recorded county. Our aim is to increase the knowledge of the distribution of invertebrates in Shropshire. We also aim for enjoyable days out in deepest Shropshire,  discovering more about the wildlife of this beautiful county.

We hold monthly field meetings in the spring, summer and autumn. Meetings are held all around Shropshire.

We also hold regular indoor meetings. These are very informal meetings held in a local pub.

We welcome all with an interest in Shropshire's invertebrates. If you'd like to join us, see our contacts page for details. Currently, there is no subscription fee.
